Zero Maintenance

No watering. No acid. No upkeep.

Own a lead-acid battery for any length of time, and you develop a relationship with it. Not the kind you want. The kind where you're periodically unscrewing vent caps, peering into cells with a flashlight, topping them off with distilled water, trying not to overfill. You're scraping white crusty corrosion off terminals with a wire brush. You're checking voltage with a multimeter to make sure it hasn't self-discharged too far while sitting idle. You're making sure it's fully recharged after every use, because if you don't, sulfation sets in and permanently robs you of capacity.

Each of these tasks is small on its own. Together, they add up to a quiet but persistent demand on your time and attention. And if you forget—if life gets busy and the battery slips your mind for a few weeks—the consequences are real. A neglected lead-acid battery degrades faster, dies sooner, and costs you more money over time. You're not really owning it. You're maintaining it.

Our 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery is designed to be owned, not maintained. There is no liquid electrolyte inside the sealed case—nothing to water, nothing to top off, nothing to spill. The terminals stay clean because there's no acid vapor to corrode them. The self-discharge rate is so low that you can leave the battery sitting for months and come back to find it nearly as full as you left it. There's no sulfation to worry about, no stratification of acid, no gradual loss of capacity from sitting partially discharged.

The built-in 100A Battery Management System automates everything that used to be your responsibility. Cell balancing? The BMS continuously monitors each cell and keeps them in perfect harmony, preventing the imbalances that degrade performance and shorten lifespan. Overcharge protection? The BMS cuts off the charging circuit when the battery is full, so you don't have to worry about whether your charger is too aggressive or whether you've left it connected too long. Over-discharge protection? The BMS disconnects the load before the cells drop into a harmful voltage range. Short circuit protection? The BMS reacts in milliseconds to prevent damage. Temperature protection? The BMS pauses charging or discharging if conditions are too hot or too cold to be safe.

None of this requires your attention. There's no menu to navigate, no settings to adjust, no maintenance schedule to follow. The BMS handles it all silently in the background, 24 hours a day.

This autonomy is especially valuable in installations that are hard to reach. If your battery is mounted under an RV chassis, bolted into a boat's sealed battery compartment, or tucked into a solar shed at the back of a property, you really don't want to be crawling under there every month with a jug of distilled water and a multimeter. With our battery, you don't have to. Install it, connect it, and let it do its job—quietly, reliably, for years.

The only thing you need to do is use it. That's the maintenance routine.
