Solar & Off-Grid
Capture more. Store better. Use everything.
Solar panels are only half the equation. They generate power when the sun shines—and then stop. The battery is what makes that power actually useful, storing it during the day and releasing it when you need it, whether that's at night, during cloudy stretches, or in the middle of a storm. If your battery can't keep up, your solar investment is being wasted.
Our 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery is designed to be the ideal storage partner for solar and off-grid energy systems. Every characteristic that matters—charge efficiency, depth of discharge, cycle life, scalability—is optimized for this role.
Charge efficiency is where the gap between lead-acid and lithium becomes most apparent. When you send power from your solar panels into a lead-acid battery, roughly 15 to 20 percent of that energy is lost as heat. On a 400-watt solar array producing 2 kilowatt-hours a day, that's 300 to 400 watt-hours simply thrown away—energy your panels worked to produce and your battery refused to store. Our LiFePO4 battery accepts charge at nearly 100 percent efficiency. Almost every watt your panels generate goes into storage, available when you need it. Over weeks and months, this difference compounds into significantly more usable energy from the same solar array.
Deep discharge capability transforms how you use that stored energy. With lead-acid, you're advised never to draw below 50 percent capacity to protect the battery. That 100Ah battery you bought is really only 50Ah in practice—you're carrying around dead weight you can never use. Our battery is a true deep-cycle design. You can discharge the full 100Ah every single cycle without damage. That effectively doubles your usable storage in the same physical footprint. For an off-grid cabin or tiny home, that's the difference between getting through the night and running out of power at 3 AM.
Temperature resilience matters enormously in off-grid applications, where battery banks often live in unconditioned spaces—a shed, a utility closet, an outdoor enclosure. Lead-acid batteries lose significant capacity in cold weather, right when nights are longest and power demand is highest. Our battery performs consistently across a wide temperature range, and the built-in low-temperature protection prevents charging damage in freezing conditions without requiring external heating systems.
Scalability is the final piece. A single battery provides 1280 watt-hours. But off-grid systems grow. Maybe you start with one battery and a couple of panels, then add more panels, then decide to run a refrigerator full-time. Our battery supports up to four in series and four in parallel—a 4S/4P configuration delivering 51.2 volts at 400 amp-hours, or 20.48 kilowatt-hours total. That's enough to power a full-time off-grid home. And because every battery in the system is identical—same cells, same BMS, same performance characteristics—expansion is seamless. Add batteries as you go, with no compatibility headaches.
For the off-grid homeowner, this battery means more energy independence with less maintenance. For the remote cabin owner, it means reliable power in a place the grid will never reach. For the solar enthusiast, it means finally getting full value from every panel. The sun provides the energy. We make sure none of it goes to waste.
