The Kingboss blog is a platform for practical, honest, and useful content that helps people make smarter energy decisions.
What We're Looking For
We accept original, unpublished articles that fall into one of the following categories:
- Real-world experience: Stories about powering your RV, boat, cabin, or home backup system. What worked, what failed, and what you learned.
- How-to guides: Step-by-step tutorials on topics like sizing a solar system, switching from lead-acid to lithium, or preparing your home for storm season.
- Product comparisons and honest reviews: Objective breakdowns of battery types, generators vs. battery storage, or other relevant products. We are not looking for promotional fluff. Honest, useful content performs best with our readers.
- Industry insights and trends: Analysis of where energy storage, off-grid living, or renewable power is heading.
Our audience includes RV owners, boaters, campers, homeowners preparing for blackouts, solar enthusiasts, and anyone interested in energy independence. Your article should speak directly to their needs.
What We Do Not Accept
- Press releases or promotional content for products you are paid to promote
- Articles that read like advertisements
- Content that has been published elsewhere
- Articles under 800 words
- AI-generated content that has not been substantially edited by a human
Submission Guidelines
To submit an idea, send an email to kingbosspower1@gmail.com with the subject line "Guest Post Pitch: [Your Topic]".
Please include:
- A short paragraph summarizing your proposed article
- A few bullet points outlining the main points you will cover
- A brief note about who you are and why your perspective matters
- Links to any previous writing samples, if available
We review submissions weekly. If your pitch is a good fit, we will reply with next steps and a target publication date. We respect your time and will respond to all submissions that follow these guidelines.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Your article must be original. We do not accept content that has been published elsewhere.
- You retain full authorship credit. We may make light edits for clarity, tone, or formatting.
- You may include one relevant, non-promotional link to your own website or social media in your author bio.
- We encourage you to include high-quality, original photos. If you do not have your own, we can provide images from our library.
